Buyer’s Inspection

Buyers look to home inspections to help them in making an informed decision concerning one of the biggest purchases of their life. We visually examine all accessible areas of the home and provide a comprehensive written report regarding the home’s condition, usually in 24-48 hours.

Components We Inspect:

  • Roof
  • Overall Structure
  • Foundation & Crawl Spaces
  • Basement
  • Attached Garage
  • Deck/Balcony/Porch
  • Driveways & Walkways
  • Exterior (doors, windows, cladding)
  • Interior (doors, windows, floors, walls, ceilings, stairs)
  • Attic Insulation & Ventilation
  • Fireplace & Chimney
  • Built-in Appliances
  • Internal Systems (electrical, plumbing, heating & cooling)

Pre-Listing Inspections

It’s far better if you discover defects before listing your home for sale. It prevents you from the awkwardness and surprise that often results when a potential buyer’s inspector finds them. This inspection allows you to address any areas in need of maintenance or repair prior to listing or to disclose those issues and price accordingly.

If, during our inspection, we discover a defective component, we’ll return to inspect it again after it’s been fixed to let you know if any additional work is needed, or to ensure that the issue has been rectified completely.

Radon is a naturally occurring, odorless and invisible gas which has been linked to many serious health concerns including lung cancer. Every home, regardless how long you’ve lived there, should be tested for Radon to protect the well-being of your loved-ones. We recommend having this test performed by a trained professional before purchasing a home.

Water Testing

If you have a well, it is important to test your water’s quality on a regular basis to to ensure its quality for your family’s cooking, drinking and cleaning needs. We’ll take samples from your faucets and send them off to a lab to be tested for harmful chemicals.
